On the occasion of World Emergency Medicine Day, the Department of Emergency Medicine at Santosh Medical College & Hospital, Ghaziabad successfully organized a two-day medical conference and training program, “ResusCon 2026.” A large number of doctors, medical students, and healthcare workers from nearby medical colleges and private institutions participated in the event. The objective of the program was to spread awareness about advanced life-saving techniques, rapid treatment approaches, and improved patient care in emergency situations. The conference was inaugurated by Dr. V. N. Mahalakshmi, Vice Chancellor of Santosh Deemed to be University. The program was organized under the leadership of Organising Chairman Dr. Manish Sabharwal, Medical Director, Santosh Hospitals, along with the organizing committee. The generous support and guidance of Chief Guest Dr. Manoj Goyal, Pro-Chancellor, Santosh Deemed to be University, and Chief Patron Dr. Alka Agrawal, Dean Medical, Santosh Medical College & Hospital, played an instrumental role in the grand success of the event. Experts provided training on topics such as trauma care, CPR, critical care, and emergency management. Senior doctors and guest faculty from prestigious institutions including AIIMS Delhi, RML Hospital, Lok Nayak Hospital, and Delhi State Cancer Institute shared their experience and expertise with the participants. Delegates also received hands-on training and exposure to the latest medical updates. Participants attending the conference were awarded 6 UPMC credit points. The enthusiasm of delegates and doctors throughout the event was remarkable. Organizers from the Department of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Kushal Narula and Dr. Prasad Achari, stated that academic and emergency training programs like “ResusCon” will now be organized every year to ensure that doctors and healthcare workers remain updated with the latest techniques and advancements in emergency care. “ResusCon 2026” was widely appreciated by all participants as an informative, practical, and inspiring conference.
